We completed scene 7 of act 1 and then studied the way Lady Macbeth acted and why she might have acted like that. Watched the scene where Lady Macbeth receives Macbeth's letter in 3 different movies. And then compared each to the others. Macbeth was talked about as a whole and how it challenged the system and related to Lord of the Flies. Ellie Pebbles bright up the good question "Is Lady Macbeth mentally stable?" This brought up a pretty good discussion about how Ruth,ess this woman seemed to be. Through scene 7 we also learned that Lady Macbeth was challenging Macbeth's manhood which was related to the acting exercises we completed a while ago. Macbeth's plan slowly unfolded and his wife schemed away. They soon came up with the idea to drug the chamberlains and then kill the King.
