Scribe- Wednesday, September 7, 2011

Today we greeted with the usual enthusiastic " Hello Smith!" before getting down to the nitty gritty work. We started off by going over the questions people had over the SAT lesson 2 questions. As well as getting some helpful tips as to answering the critical reading section. If you have difficulties with answering the critical reading part try and make use of the elimination method. Cancel out all the answers that have no chance of being correct and try to sift out the correct ones. W then continued on to acting out the next six scenes of Macbeth where we learned that Macbeth has been foretold to be the next King of Cumberland and he is trying to find a way to get there, though he may not be going about it correctly. we discussed the various characters and their parts in Macbeth and what some of the quotes are really saying. Our SAT Lesson 1 work and tests were handed back as well as the thesis's. If you missed today make sure to come back to class and get caught up fast! And don't forget the homework!!
Don't forget about the double tests on Friday! The SAT test and our first Macbeth test as well.
