Q: What inspired you to write a book as controversial as Little Brother is? Did the novels 1984 or Fahrenheit 451 have any affect?

  3. Q: Marcus is so driven with wanting to take down the DHS in order to get the "old" America back. Do you feel that you can relate to the character Marcus and believe in what he is determined to do? Are you Marcus?

  5. Obviously, you have written Little Brother to awaken today's society and reveal the extremities that we as a whole have come to accept. Do you see our futures turning around because we are realizing how exaggerated the situation is coming to be, or do you think that we are headed straight for a dystopian world, just as portrayed, but even more concentrated?

  6. The society shown in Little Brother is rather corrupt as are many around the world. How far/close do you believe the societies of reality are to becoming like that of San Francisco's in your book or has that point already been reached? What actions should be taken to prevent such a society from emerging?
