Monday, April 9, Period 5

Following an egg-filled, relaxing weekend, 5th period English started off with a lack of excitement today.  After pushing through a painful, “Hello Smith”, we got right down to business and started discussing our homework. (Will be listed below)
Then, Mrs. Lewallen from the Post Grad center came in and discussed with us a small personality test we need to take. The test is just a 15-20 minute quiz that should be fun for everyone. Be sure not to over-think the questions, it’s not meant to trick you. We were handed two slips by Mrs. Lewallen; one to give us directions on how to access the test and the other to give our registration information. The directions to register for an account are as follows:

Click the link above and it will lead you to this page. Click on the link to Naviance on this page. (Just under Post Graduate Information heading)

That link will lead you to a log in page. On the right side of the screen you will see this box. You must click, I need to register and it will lead you to a register page. Fill in the required information and create your account.

When you are logged in to your Naviance account, click on the About me tab. Under interesting things about me, click on personality type. You will see a title, “Do What You Are”. Read the instructions. Start the assessment. Read the statements about each person. Respond with your first though, your gut reaction. Make a quick decision and move on. (This way, the assessment moves quickly and you will have the best result.) Continue to the end. You will know you have completed the assessment when you see the title “Confidential Report” with your name underneath. It should take about 15-20 minutes to complete. If you have any problems with Naviance, please stop by the Post Grad Center for help.

After Mrs. Lewallen left, we changed and prepared for our long-awaited Romeo and Juliet scene reenactments. From a Star Wars performance, to British accents, and Day cares, you certainly didn’t want to miss these! We got through all but 2 performances and will finish up tomorrow.

Homework: Read- Intro-Chapter 3 in AWNM for tomorrow, “Your” sentence due April 16, and take the Post Grad test by Thursday.
