  1. Wow. It was powerful from the very beginning! Those pictures you used were crazy and each told a story. The stories you told also left a very strong impact. That was a great speech!

  6. Alison,
Cute outfit:) I like your use of pictures because it helps me have an emotional connection. Great use of STORY. Be careful with pacing because it can be distracting. I love how you connect it to the world and how we can solve the problem. It was AMAZING! I think it is one of the best so far with using emotion.
    WOW! "Remember Beatrice and Molla...."

  10. I really like how you brought in a foundation to help us. You could have told us to donate money to this foundation and call it good. But you described the foundation in much detail. Your stories also really magnified your point. Great job!

  11. Great job Alison! I loved your topic, and how passionate you are about it! I almost started to cry. Your examples really drove your point home, and your presentation with the kids in the background was awesome. More people need to be involved in this crisis, and I am glad you are spreading the word.

  13. Wow. You had us all captivated. You brought a very powerful idea to light. Your speech didn't sugar coat it (which is good), and instead identified and provided a solution to the problem. Your conclusion was very VERY clever. Great job spreading the news to fix this horrendous problem. Wow. - Grant

  14. Alison,
I like your use of pecha kucha. Very powerful stories. I really appreciate your passion. Also, good job providing a solution, rather than just exposing the problem.
