Wow! My parents always taught me NEVER to talk about religeon to others. Your topic takes alot of courage. Good job!
Maddie: Your topic was a hard one. I admired your courage. Even though I disagree, I admire your passion.
Could you maybe clarify what you disagree on? Do you not agree with my thoughts that we should work for religious tolerance? :)
I was so interested to be able to hear the other side of the story because so often you hear it from those who are religious but what people don't always realize is that not everything is sunshine and rainbows for either side.
You did a very good job of talking about a touchy subject. You offered an opposite perspective that I don't think most people have thought about.
I agree with your point. I have also had friends who have been bullied for being atheists and I think it's good that you point out that acceptance is important.
Maddie- The underlying message of your talk to me was religious acceptance and the challenges that come with conflicting ideas.
Good job presenting a topic that is very touchy and debatable. You also were able to put in the enthusiasm into your talk.
I thought that you handled it really well by showing all different sides of the issue on religion.
Maddie I have always agreed with the point you are trying to make. It seems whenever somebody is called an atheist, they are instantly degraded. I agree that everyone should have freedom of religion.
Great job Maddie, saying what you said took a lot of courage and that was very inspiring. You really did a great job making your point and I very much agree with what you said.
Great TED Talk. Just because someone has a different religion doesn't mean that you should be intolerant of the other.
Maddie- that was a really insightful speech and I really liked how comfortable you looked up there.
I agree that we need to be more tolerant of religion. Good job talking about a subject that people tend to avoid.
I personally agree with what you said about atheists being bad people because I know many atheists who are great people. I think that we need to not have religious tolerance, but instead, we should have religious acceptance. I personally am a Christian and I accept that not everyone is a Christian. I know that not everyone wants to be a Christian, but I still talk about my faith and I know that not everyone will accept it. However, I hope that some will.
Maddie, I loved how you had the courage to go out there and share what yo truly believe. I liked how you gave perspective to all different kinds of beliefs. It was interesting to hear what you think and belief and I respect you for all you said. I agree that we should have religious tolerance and acceptance in the future.
