There are so many good qualities needed for all these people. Here are just a few I wanted to add. There are many qualities that good teachers should have, but the ones that are most important to me and that I really care about them having are that they love what they do, they have a passion for it, that they are always there to help or slow down if a student needs them to, and that they try a couple of different teaching methods so they can fill the needs of all students. It is important for a class to have qualities that will make them as a class better. A few qualities important for a class are that they should be respectful to everyone in the class even if they may have a different opinion then themselves; to make a class work you also need participation from everyone in the class. It is no fun if a handful of people are doing all the talking. Good qualities of a student are that they respect the teacher and their fellow classmates and that they share their ideas and points of view with the class. It just might be the best idea of the day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-3535678343674722802011-08-17T23:02:24.138-06:002011-08-17T23:02:24.138-06:00A "good"teacher in my opinion had many q...A "good"teacher in my opinion had many qualities or characteristics that make them a good teacher. I believe a good teacher is someone who's passionate about teaching and loves coming to school every day to teach. They come into class in a good mood and crack some jokes during class making it fun to learn. A good teacher also takes the time to explain the assignment to the class and if needed helps the students out individually. I also agree with Troy that the teacher needs to care about you and in doing so needs to push you to do your greatest. Of course they need to be respectful, nice, considerate, and many other things but I feel these qualities are most important.

I think that the students need to try hard to be good students as well to make learning easy and fun. A good student is respectful to the teacher and their classmates, very helpful and very determined and ready to learn. Basically the student needs to act like a teacher so that the learning environment is peaceful and calm. Anyone can be a good student you just have to act like the teacher is your mom or your dad and treat them how you want to be treated.

A good successful class is a combination of a good teacher and a class full of good students. With good students and a good teacher the class can function without any interruptions making it easy for everyone to learn. One major qualify for a class to have is good communication. With good communication students and teachers can have conversations on topics and can here each others ideas. If the class can communicate than they can push each other to do better and better making the entire class excel as a group. With these qualities not only is the class a good class but it is fun and welll help you become the best person you can possibly be.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-60152502496642524892011-08-17T16:42:15.757-06:002011-08-17T16:42:15.757-06:00Often the qualities desired in teachers are the sa...Often the qualities desired in teachers are the same ones we yearn for in any person- to be kind, loving, understanding of ones mistakes, patient, and hundreds of others. Just as important qualities of being a student are to be attentive, dedicated to learning, teachable, willing to learn from our mistakes, and so on. Concluding with the necessary virtues to become a great class are a combination of all above. To become THE great class that everyone talks about, it takes both the effort of the teacher and the students working together and respecting one another to succeed.ruthm2015https://www.blogger.com/profile/05773560963454122671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-90236635011210014012011-08-17T12:49:55.338-06:002011-08-17T12:49:55.338-06:00A good teacher is someone who is passionate about ...A good teacher is someone who is passionate about their job. Too many times teachers come to school having a dull look on their face. It sends one message to their students, "I'm not here for you." When students see that, they don't try hard, don't participate, and don't succeed. They don't receive the same great education that the kids with the passionate teacher down the hall get . However, students also need to be accountable and take charge of their education. They need to get help, study, and push themselves harder and harder each year. Only accountable, trustworthy students will reach the top. The others will simply never get there. Something that help students with their learning expirience is a good class. A good class is respectful, has goals, and wants to lift each other up. With all of that, classes will be able to produce great scholars who will change the world. To conclude, teachers and students make up a class. However, it is the good teachers and the good students who will create the perfect learning environment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-27018140885612149532011-08-16T22:13:04.617-06:002011-08-16T22:13:04.617-06:00Qualities of a good teacher is someone who is not ...Qualities of a good teacher is someone who is not only patient but passionate. They must love what they do as a teacher and want to help their students not only learn more but to be better people. They must be willing to help whenever it is needed and be there to answer all questions. They have to think not only about how it applies to the class that day, but also how it will apply for the student that day and in their future. They are also someone who is involved in their student’s lives. They are someone who can have a conversation with them about something non school related and at the same time, be able to bring themselves and their past stories in to their teaching. They need to become more than a teacher. They need to be more than two dimensional. They need to have personality and connect with their students not only as a teacher, but as a friend. A good student is going to look different for everybody so I would say that a good student is truly who you are. It’s taking who you are on the inside, your true character, and bring it out and putting it into everything that you do. Of course, you will need to do the things that every adult in your life has told you. To study, pay attention in class, all that stuff, but instead of being boring, they need to have fun and have a personality just as a teacher. Also, as a teacher needs to be passionate about teaching, a good student must be passionate about learning. A good class again is going to look different in each class but one thing they must have is unity. They must be able to work together and problem solve as a whole, but on the opposite side of that, they must also be able to question each other. A good class needs to be able to learn, not just from what the teacher tells them, but by the people around them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-40696358917587968352011-08-16T21:55:13.917-06:002011-08-16T21:55:13.917-06:00The are many things that can make a school the bes...The are many things that can make a school the best it can be. First the teachers and administration have to know what there doing and know how to do it. Without these qualities a school can never be its best. A teacher also needs to; as Monica said; know how to stretch the comprehension of the student's mind. They also need to know how to make a safe and enjoyable environment for learning. If a teacher can do this everyday, then the students should do great.

The students also have to contribute to the learning environment to make it the best it can be. By participating, being respectful and having a good attitude towards learning, they can improve the learning of themselves and others.

A good classroom combines both of the above. With a good teacher and good students, the class can excel. A class also needs to be able to communicate. If they can't communicate then some people may stay with their opinions on a certain topic forever. When a class can communicate then a higher level of thinking can happen.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-53346620401522116822011-08-16T21:14:41.054-06:002011-08-16T21:14:41.054-06:00The qualities of a good teacher are a mixture of m...The qualities of a good teacher are a mixture of multiple different traits. One of these is teachers should stretch the understanding and comprehension of the student's mind. With this comes questioning the students on discussion and possibly controversial topics to expand the wisdom or familiarity of a given subject. Students should be willing to opinions of their peers to build onto their own self beliefs to become more familiar of the different sides of discussions. For a sufficient class, the students and teacher need to set their standards and goals on the most important aspect of what school is about: "our future". As long as everybody is respectful and ready to learn, the class will thrive.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-73161887151186274732011-08-16T21:10:42.917-06:002011-08-16T21:10:42.917-06:00I believe that a good teacher is someone who is un...I believe that a good teacher is someone who is understanding of a students personal learning situation. Teachers should be understanding about the students “out of school” life. They should be nice and make class fun. If the class is fun then chances are more students will be attentive and wanting to learn. They should also know when to quiet the class down and when to lecture them. They should be nice to one another and help each other out when need be. Students should almost always have their homework done, why not? They should have a sense of humor but know when to be quiet. All of these qualities can create good students. I also feel that these qualities would create a good class. We're in high school we all know that if we don't get our work done we will have to face the ugly consequences. Because if you drill into our heads that we need to get our work done fast we will forget "Quality vs. Quantity"

A good student has to be a friend, but friendly to the point of not getting work done. Because we all know what happens when we do a project with your best friend. They also need to be kind hearted, nobody likes the stereotypical “oh what you get on your test” kind of person. It's fine by me if you get an A+ on a paper just don’t come rub it in my face when you know I didn't do so well, because most likely when you’re just trying to impress people everyone is going to hate you.

We all know the feeling when you have to get up in front of a class to read a report and you just see all eyes on you and you feel everyone is going to judge you for every word that comes out of your mouth. Well they shouldn't. A good class has to be understanding of each other’s mistakes because most likely we all make the same ones. They have to support you but not to the extent were it just gets annoying.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-66829653301953030042011-08-16T18:31:28.521-06:002011-08-16T18:31:28.521-06:00Most teachers as well as students goal in their sc...Most teachers as well as students goal in their school environment life is to work with their class in harmony. There is only a few ways to successfully accomplish this, but the most important way to do this is by having superb qualities.

A teacher needs to come to school everyday and be ready to listen to what the student is saying, as well as to have a good sense of humor but be strict at the same time, and also just to be friendly. When I go up to a teacher I really want them to listen to what I say instead of just nodding their head and smiling. Its important to the teacher to be able to get through to his/her pupils. Teachers should always have a good sense of humor, but not to the extent where there's no discipline. Students can get the wrong idea with only one word out of the teachers mouth. When there's only discipline in the air though it makes the atmosphere uncomfortable. The last quality a teacher needs is to be friendly with all of the students. We all know that most teachers have their favorites, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be friendly to everyone! Obvious favoritism is not enjoyed by the rest of the class. Students as well need key qualities to get along with the teacher and their classmates. Students should be able to listen, have respect for everyone, and try their best everyday. Without listening to what the teacher is saying the student wont understand the lesson, will disrupt the class, and just be plain rude. Even though we all do it sometimes, its really not in anyones best interest to continually do it. Students should also show that they not only should have respect for themselves, but for the class too. Whether this means being disruptive and talking in class, or making fun of someone its all wrong and students should know when enough is enough. The last quality a student needs is to give their all everyday in the work and effort they put into school. Slackers are not appreciated. They not only bring themselves down but sometimes bring others down too. If a teacher and student combine all of these qualities together, the classroom environment would be absolutely perfect and have a fantastic balance of everything!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-56296059707659525242011-08-16T18:17:10.697-06:002011-08-16T18:17:10.697-06:00A good teacher is marked by a certain set of chara...A good teacher is marked by a certain set of characteristics that make them "good," including leadership, passion, a quit wit, and desire to help their students achieve their full potential. Leadership is important to gain the respect of students. Passion is needed to dedicate one's self to affecting the lives of students. Wittiness is key to being a good teacher, specifically a good high school teacher, because it makes students respect a teacher not only as their teacher but like them as a person. The most important attribute, however, is the desire to help students. Without this from every teacher, students will not reach their full potential.

A good student is willing to listen, watch, accept new ideas, and most importantly learn. Without listening to a teacher, class time is wasted by a student. Without watching a teacher, a student may miss important demonstrations. Without willingness to accept new ideas a student is unable to think at a higher level and carry on group discussions. But, listening to and watching a teacher is useless if a student is unwilling to learn.

A combination of support and mutual respect between "good teachers" and "good students" is the key to a "good class." Without support from peers and the teacher a student is unable to speak his or her opinion. Mutual respect is also essential to a successful class, without respect, support is impossible.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-1093132960108180522011-08-16T16:41:56.906-06:002011-08-16T16:41:56.906-06:00The qualities of a good teacher are caring, dilige...The qualities of a good teacher are caring, diligent, trust worthy and having the passion for learning and the willingness to share and teach those around them. A teacher should be prepared for anything and have a personality that is ready to except a variety of comfort levels and strength and weakness. A teacher should have an attitude that makes student’s feel comfortable and safe to share. They should have the desire to push always students to the best of their ability and help them overcome challenges that may arise. The qualities of a good student are organized, caring, open-minded, disciplined and engaged. A good student is always ready for class with all the materials they need and is always prepared for all challenges. A good student will be aware of those around them and watches out for students who may be struggling and need help. They are excited to work with new ideas and techniques that will enhance their learning experience and give them depth and perspective to their thoughts and ideas. Finally, being a disciplined and engaged learner is the key to understanding and comprehending material. An engaged learner will be able to take every detail in to push beyond their comfort level. The qualities of a good class are respect, unity, discipline and caring. A good class will respect everyone’s insight and perspective and give kind advice to those who ask for it. When a class is unified they have a feeling of comfort and safety that allows them to share with each other and expand their horizons through other’s comments. To achieve the ideal learning experience, you need a good teacher, an eager student, and a cooperative and dynamic class.

The main must-have qualities for a good teacher are understanding and listening, a good sense of humor, certain strictness, and a passion for their work.
The number one thing I need a teacher to have is the ability to understand and listen to me. Many teachers I've had would not even let me ask a question or talk to them, and this prevented me from learning. Even if the teacher is not able to accommodate my need, at least they listened to what I had to say.
The second and third qualities that makes a good teacher is a sense of humor and passion. I have always hated and been less motivated about classes where the teacher never told a joke or did not care about their work.
I also need a teacher to have a certain amount of strictness. Not like an army drill, but a teacher who can let me know what they want and help me to understand when I did not comply with their expectations.

The next thing is a good and eager student. For this, students need to always try to be positive. If they think they can, they can. If they think they can't, they can't. They also must clear things up if they are confused, and be willing to learn, even if they don't like the idea at first.

The last thing for a good academic experience is a good, dynamic class. A class needs to respect, listen and encourage each other.

All of these things combined make up a good learning environment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-36175667298068085052011-08-16T13:13:47.667-06:002011-08-16T13:13:47.667-06:00I believe that these are four of the most importan...I believe that these are four of the most important qualities of good teachers: Empathy, patience, passion, and a sense of humor. When teachers show empathy, students feel less obligated to spend time on homework when there may be an important emergency situation that they need to attend to. Patience is important in helping a student fully understand a concept. Everyone learns at a different pace, and a teacher that is patient will graciously take the time to work with even the slowest learners. Student’s sense when a teacher has a passion for teaching. It becomes contagious, which inspires motivation within the students. If a teacher has a good sense of humor, it makes them more approachable and can lighten certain situations. A good student is motivated, persistent, and organized. Motivation results in timely, high quality work, and a desire to learn. A persistent student never gives up, even after being knocked down. Being organized means keeping track of when assignments are due, and keeping papers in their right places. This allows the student to focus on learning. Respect for everyone in the class (teacher included), and participation create a better learning environment. Respect brings peace to the classroom by not interrupting anyone, and allows discussions to be held without arguing. Participation brings up different viewpoints, creating more thoughtful conversation. All of these things together make up an extremely successful classroom.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-63664015362787105172011-08-16T13:09:59.632-06:002011-08-16T13:09:59.632-06:00There are many qualities of a good teacher. It means a lot to me when a teacher actually cares about what you are writing instead of grading it and never think about your paper again.
Some qualities of a great student include their full effort in everything they do in and out of class. Most teachers that I have had in my lifetime have been great, but only bordering on the edge of perfection. One such teacher would be Mr. Maness. The ability to push a student to the edge, but not over it is a great quality indeed. Some people may say he was their favorite teacher and that he was perfect, I respectfully disagree. The sort of "Scrooge" personality that Mr. Maness portrays may deter students from wanting to ask questions or seek help, negatively impacting a student’s learning. The sort of teacher that everyone wants to have, is most definitely not the best. A teacher that is strict and able to make a student try their absolute best, but not afraid to crack a joke once in a while, would be the perfect teacher for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-12851735532847492032011-08-16T13:04:27.731-06:002011-08-16T13:04:27.731-06:00I believe some qualities that should be found in a...I believe some qualities that should be found in all teachers are patience, kindness, and a strong will and commitment to teach and learn. The first quality, patience, is needed in all teachers because not all students learn at the same pace. Patience allows the teacher to help the student at the pace that is best for them. I also believe a teacher should be kind. Kindness is a quality that everyone appreciates. A kind teacher can make a student's day easier and, in my personal experience, it makes the student more willing to learn and achieve academic success. The final and possibly the most important quality in a teacher is a commitment to not only teach, but to learn as well. If the teacher only lectures, they will learn nothing, but if the teacher teaches with a passion, they will learn from their students and gain their love and respect.
A good student, in turn, needs to listen and obey instructions, want to succeed, and they should be attentive in their studies. In order to go far in their lives, a student must learn that sometimes it is better to listen then to speak. Epictetus once said, "We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak." I think that this applies not only in the classroom, but in our everyday lives as well. We have to learn to listen before we can learn anything else. The student must also obey instructions because without them they will be lost. In addition, a student must also want to succeed because without this drive they will not go far, but with it they can achieve many things. Finally, a student must be attentive in their studies. This includes not bothering their other classmates and allowing them to work. If a student is attentive in their studies, they will find school much more enjoyable, then if they had slacked off and not completed their assignments.
Finally, a good class should have unity, respect for their teacher, and a willingness to help one another. If a class has unity, they work better as a team and they get along better with each other. A class should also have respect for their teacher. This means that they listen when the teacher talks and they turn in their assignments on time. If they turn in their assignments late it shows that they don't care what their teacher said and that it means nothing to them. Last, but not least, a class should have a willingness to help each other. This will make everyone's lives easier because they always know that someone is willing to help them when they need it and that their fellow students will stick with them to the end.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-64236682982297617322011-08-16T12:45:30.214-06:002011-08-16T12:45:30.214-06:00Teachers and students may seem very different but ...Teachers and students may seem very different but are the same when it comes to being great. To be great students and teachers both must be patient, practice, and be willing. Patience is key to being great because when something gets hard, students and teachers can’t give up. While teaching a class a new idea, it may be frustrating trying to get the idea across, but with a bit of patience, teachers can strive to have every single student learn what is being said. Students on the other hand must also have patience because learning something new is hard too. When a student doesn’t understand at first, they must try harder and work to understand, which at times can be frustrating. Students and teachers must also practice. Students must practice the skills that are being taught in order to fully understand. Teachers must practice new teaching skills. Teachers can’t always teach the same way because not everything should be learned the same way. With practice, teachers can teach in the most efficient way. Lastly, teachers and students must be willing. Teachers must be willing to learn new thing too. Even the teacher will be learning new things every day. They have to be willing to be open to new ideas. Students must be willing to learn. If the teacher is talking, the students must listen. Classes are made up of teacher and students. Therefore to make a class great, both teacher and students must have patience, practice, and willingness.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-18187026389472652322011-08-16T10:13:48.493-06:002011-08-16T10:13:48.493-06:00If both the teacher and the students have good qua...If both the teacher and the students have good qualities, then the class will be great. A teacher with good qualities should know her students on a personal level and know how they learn and at what pace. I also think that it is extremely imported also for the students to be able to approach the teacher easily to ask questions. This way, the teacher knows how they comprehended that lesson for the day and the student then understands the lesson. A teacher who knows at what pace the students learn at is a good quality teacher. A good quality student must work hard. In this way, they will be giving it their all because the teacher will do he/she's best at teaching. Also, a quality student needs to be able to pay attention and connect ideas. The most important quality both teachers and students must share is respect. The students must respect the teacher and each other. Together, a quality teacher and quality students will make a quality class.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-11348179486005447662011-08-16T10:09:51.188-06:002011-08-16T10:09:51.188-06:00As Shannon said above, it really is hard to come a...As Shannon said above, it really is hard to come across a good teacher because there are many separate components that make a good teacher. For instance, I believe a teacher must teach the class. There really is no use of taking a class where the teacher doesn't give you any homework or lets you goof around or text your friends all day. The teacher must teach you the right things in the right way because, to paraphrase what the video said today, the world is always changing. Some of us will have a job that doesn't exist yet and has to face problems that haven't occurred yet. Going into a world like that where your only skill is texting really fast is very, very bad. At the same time the teacher has make the class engaging for the students. Whether it's taking them on a field trip or simply making a joke during one of the lessons will keep students interested in the topic and they will also be having fun. I had a science teacher in 6th and 8th grade (no names) that made every class horribly boring. He would talk and we would listen. Half the time I learned some valuable lessons about science, the other half I learned some invaluable lessons about counting sheep. Lastly, a teacher has to be positive. Being positive in and out of class can be great for some students who may have spent all day being bullied. You can keep the class exciting and fun, but at the same time teaching them. It's hard to do but it's worth it for the students and the teacher themselves.

Students have a responsibility too. If you're going to goof around all class and not listen to the teacher's lessons then you are wasting your time and the teacher's time. In class try to interact with the teacher without interrupting him/her when they are talking. Be friendly to your teacher, don't be hostile for no reason. Be eager to learn because if you don't you'll regret it.
Finally, just like Emma said, when a good teacher combines with good students you get a good class. A class where the teacher is teaching the students lessons while being friendly, positive, and engaging. The students are being respectful to him or her but are still having a good time in class. It's kind of like a puzzle, all of the pieces are small at first but when you combine them you can create a very cool or funny or serious picture.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-40028633274500866702011-08-16T10:07:17.393-06:002011-08-16T10:07:17.393-06:00A good teacher is someone who can teach to the lev...A good teacher is someone who can teach to the level of each individual student. For example, my fifth grade teacher taught in a classroom that had ‘no ceiling’. She would teach the curriculum, but she wouldn’t stop there. If a student had more potential in math, she would challenge them with extra math games and concepts. When a student needed to grow more in writing, she would teach different ways to use description, voice, and organization. I agree with Alex when he says that a good teacher should have humor. Humor relaxes the environment and makes students be more comfortable with sharing. It shows that the teacher is treating us as responsible individuals who are capable of having fun while they work. Correspondingly, if the teacher treats us as responsible teens, the students have a responsibility to do their best work every day. Good students challenge each other to their full potential while being supportive of each others work. They show effort on every assignment and have a thirst to learn. Just as Alison said, good students need to listen to each other and the teacher. They should grow into a united whole that forms a good class. A good class works together to form a hardworking, successful community. When the classroom has a welcoming, positive atmosphere, it is most likely to succeed. When the students and teacher are focused on the future and the skills to get you there, it shows the makings of a good class. A good class has a teacher who involves humor in her teaching while challenging each individual and students who can listen and challenge each other.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-89176131547205640562011-08-16T10:02:31.235-06:002011-08-16T10:02:31.235-06:00To me, the qualities of a good teacher are defined...To me, the qualities of a good teacher are defined by her class. If you walk into a teacher’s classroom and their class is yelling and screaming and bouncing off the walls then you would know that she has bad qualities. In general the best qualities of a teacher are to be a fun but strict teacher. A fun teacher is a good teacher because if a teacher is fun then it is usually easier for a student to learn in a fun and exciting environment. The best qualities of a student are to study and work very hard at school, but a good student also needs to know that is okay to relax and have some fun. A class is not just students, but also the teacher, the environment, and the mood of the room. A teacher needs to know when it is time to stop messing around. A student needs to know that school is serious and fun at the same time. The environment needs to be exciting and the the mood needs to be relaxed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-43052483114885689832011-08-16T07:11:44.016-06:002011-08-16T07:11:44.016-06:00A good teacher needs to have many qualities. I also believe that they should be aproachable and let the students know that it is ok, even encouredgeable, to come in with questions, or to try and get extra help on material they don't understand. A teacher should rule with a firm hand and not let their students run amuck in the classroom, but they also shouldn't be so strict as to not let any of their student enjoy their class. They should try to encourage their students to brannch out and try new things, as well as helping them to reach their goals. Then there are always the teachers that insist upon babysitting you. The ones who read through everything as a class, and then reiterate again and again. I think these teachers don't let one experience anything by themselves, or have to find a solution without the aid of someone else. An the teachers who are so strict and have their beliefs, the only ones they'll accept. They don't let their students learn from experience or try to find other ways to do things. A teacher who can find a happy medium between these is the kind of teacher I'd like to take a class with. A good student needs to be accepting, willing to try new things, andcapable of seeing things from a nother persons' point of view. Willing to accept any workload or new idea thrust upon them, willing to try something they have never attempted before, and willing to give up their fight for a moment and see what another person is seeing. Which means a good class should be composed of perservering and accepting students. They should be able to participate in class and to use the best of their abilities to do well. They shuld be able to all offer different ideas and perspectives on something. This way everbody will be giving something special to the classAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277813007865744192.post-82490672935312848972011-08-16T01:55:36.761-06:002011-08-16T01:55:36.761-06:00In my opinion, good qualities of a teacher would i...In my opinion, good qualities of a teacher would include someone who is understanding and willing to work with their students individually to make sure they understand the material. Some other good qualities in a teacher would be when they have good character and charisma to not only prepare you for you future, but to make sure you're enjoying yourself along the way.
My favorite teacher was indeed my favorite because she could treat everyone as equals, and bring laughter and joy in the classroom with her vibrant stories. She also had respect from all her pupils so when it was time to be more vigilant and disciplined with work, we were eager to comply.

To be a good student shouldn't mean being the one who has straight A's in all of their work, or is very well behaved in everything he or she does. I believe to be a good student, you have to put your absolute best effort into all your work and try your hardest. An 'A' as a grade should not define you, the best success I've ever had was by failing and redeeming myself as fervently as I could. I also think that by showing personality through your work, is another way to connect with different material along the way. And if that means that showing your passion or anger or any other emotion that surfaces whilst learning about a subject to have a deeper understanding and appreciation, then that's what you should do.

To feel safe and comfortable in an environment is definitely a great feeling to have. It's also a great attribute to have for a class. When you have a supportive community who won't judge or make you feel insecure, I find it is so much easier to put yourself out there and answer questions, make deeper connections, and do your best work. Because when you spend your time worrying about what the class will think, you fail to remember whose opinion matters the most.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
